Kenneth Valentine: Elite Guest Trainer

This month I’m honored to bring on a very special Elite Guest Trainer, Kenneth Valentine. Kenneth retired from the United States Secret Service in 2020 as the Special Agent in Charge of the Dignitary Protective Division. His career on the Presidential Protective Detail spanned ten years and three presidencies. He spent his whole life cheating death as a Secret Service Agent and knows the value of what it means to live a truly genuine life. In this session, he will share with you how to be a strong leader, make effective decisions, and live life with abundance. 

Kenneth is the author of Cheating Death: Three-Time Presidential Secret Service Agent Lives To Tell You How, a book that was over 20 years in the making during his time as a Special Agent that started out as letters to his children during his presidential travels. He wrote about his successes and failures – about his identity, faith, preparation for opportunity, decision-making, leadership, hardships, and friendships. The letters melded into themes and the themes into chapters. Before he knew it, he had the makings of a book. With the encouragement of those around him, he decided to put it all together and Cheating Death was born. 

Today he is on the board of directors at The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children where he chairs the Operations & Law Enforcement Committee. He is a certified leadership trainer through Pointman Leadership Institute, teaches a community group class at The Church at Brook Hills, and serves on the board of directors at The WellHouse home for human trafficking victims. He holds an undergraduate degree from Purdue University and a law degree from Mississippi College.

Kenneth is one of the best people I know. He was actually my supervisor during my time in the U.S. Secret Service when I was with President Barack Obama. I would have followed him anywhere. He had my back. And I had his. 

I look forward to having Kenneth share with you what he learned during his time with the U.S. Secret Service that he continues to emulate in his life and work today.
