About this Class
As human beings, we're guaranteed to face personal hardships. Whether relational, financial, emotional, or physical, every one of us will be tested and tried - perhaps to our breaking point or beyond. Although we all experience life's struggles, how we handle them is our unique journey. Some people evolve, while others become stuck, unable to move past the pain and suffering.
What You'll Learn
This month’s Elite Guest Trainer Josh Goldberg is no stranger to despair. Having faced his own heartaches, Josh is now the CEO of Boulder Crest Foundation, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring first responders, combat veterans, and their families live great lives in the midst of struggle, stress, and trauma.
Josh will share his life’s mission to help others understand why bad things happen to good people and how to assimilate personal adversity into Posttraumatic Growth (PTG), a positive psychological transformation that can happen after trauma.
Prior to joining Boulder Crest, Josh worked as a communications executive at ExxonMobil and was an entrepreneur-in-residence at 2M Companies. During his time at 2M, Josh began advising non-profit organizations focused on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Since becoming CEO, Josh has led Boulder Crest’s efforts to develop, deliver, study, and scale Posttraumatic Growth-based solutions for those in need. He’s also the co-author of Struggle Well: Thriving in the Aftermath of Trauma and Transformed by Trauma.
For those who are struggling. For those in need. For those who want a new way of overcoming heartache and pain. Please join us.
“We’re transforming society’s approach to mental health and PTSD.”
— Josh Goldberg
